During the operation of hydrocyclone cut size diameter is most important data. This connected to feed rate, which closely related cross section. Preliminary research has revealed that square cross-section more effective than circular cross-section. The compared 2 types sections at 5 different rates. One a standard rectangular and other narrows with baffle plate. calculations for have shown better particle separation all speeds can be achieved plate solution. In both types, increased velocity created decreased diameter. simulation, did not cause any abnormalities in internal pressure distributions. simulation particles behave as previously calculated.
